Talullah: All American Girl
With all of the references about our family being similar to the Addams Family, it probably seems kind of strange that our daughter Talullah is going to be modeling in something as mainstream as an American Girl fashion show. Talullah has always been little like the Aunt Marilyn of the family (ok, that's a Munster's reference)...the only "normal" one in a family of oddities. But we love her for her it. That's what makes her unique around here.
Anyways, she auditioned for the American Girl fashion show and she got it! She's so excited. The show is in honor of the new American Girl store that recently opened and is a fundraiser for the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Each model is required to raise $100 for the PCH in whatever way she can. Parents of the models are required to purchase tickets to the show at $70 each.
Talullah is selling this cute self portrait she made last year for an art exhibit at a local gallery in order to raise as much of the $170 as possible. It's conte' crayon (10"x15") and she drew it herself with instruction from her mother. She's selling the original for $50 + shipping and prints for $5 + shipping each.
